How does an incorrigible fashionista score all the latest goods at a discount – well rent it I say. I mean I guess its not really a new concept – celebrities have always rented the latest couture and bling for events. And too, we’ve all heard of Netflix. Last night I visited Bag, Borrow, or Steal and I must have spent at least 30 minutes on that site oogling all the couture candy. I went from bags, to jewelery, to watches, and back to bags. I mean let’s face it the shelf life of an “It” handbag is about 6 months if you’re lucky. This allows you always have the next it piece and your cash savings to boot. Rentals are by the month or if your fickle by the week. Of course the pricing is tiered depending on your level of extravagance. Ever the curious one I may have a go at it. How are we feeling about this?

I have a couple of Louies that are collecting dust. But I can’t give them away even for a fair trade. I hope to pick them up in 10 years and “rock” a classic. However, I feel the borrow and trade idea would work for evening gowns. At the rate that I am “growing” What I wear today may not fit in 10 years.
