About
{About Little Holiday}
Little holiday is a breath of my daily creative inspiration. Art is limitless, timeless, and prolific: fashion, photography, stationery, food, culture, and language. My life is a medley of all these things. This blog is my unique way of experiencing life’s beauty and bounty.
{About ME}
I am Claude Duroseau. Two questions I get all the time (1) Are you a man? (2) Are you French? Short answer: neither! Long Answer: I am definitely a girl. My name is French and I do speak French. I am of Haitian decent. I heart yummy food, foraging for obscure objects, making anything from scratch, fantasizing about making detailed plans, and of course thoughtful design. I have the sweetest daughter who happens to be obsessed with the color yellow and an extremely loving husband.
{About Work}
I departed from a background in psychology and law for what I consider greener pastures. I am a graphic artist, stationery designer, and letterpress printer concentrating mainly on custom wedding and event invitations. My studio houses two lovely antique C & P presses which I acquired in Brooklyn, New York. This blog is a collection of thoughts and ideas that I use to create my stationery. I will update the blog 4 days weekly with fashion, design, food (YUM), DIY, and crafting ideas. I will also feature guest bloggers and small business owners in various industries who will offer up invaluable tips and advice on such as starting and managing your own successful business. To add to this, I will also have contributing editors who lend their expertise on various topics.
{About Single Lady Fridays}
This is a special posting by our contributing editor, RoseyYnot, which will happen once a week on Fridays. RoseyYnot finds herself to be the sounding board of all her single and married friends. Here she will dish about what the girls chats about and how to navigate the various issues.
