I’m not sure if it will happen on the outside but this is certainly what will be happening in my house for Christmas this year.  Everything is white, crisp, and ethereal … I think a little sparkle of pink, silver, and gold will complete my theme this year … What will be your holiday style … please share …

I am in love with Blik decals right now. In one Saturday morning,  Soleil and I decaled her whole bathroom.  It was a cinch and super cheap.  We were so happy with our creative handi- work that I wanted to blik my whole apartment-  but my dear husband – always the voice of reason – decided that too much of a good thing is well not so good.  We pouted for a while but in the end acquiesced realizing he is probably right.  Nevertheless, we transformed a space into something that gives us all great pleasure everytime we enter the room.  Very Satisfactory!

{Chirp vs. Spring Song}

Ever since Lenox came out with their Chirp collection in 2007 it has been on my most coveted list.  I imagined preparing a lovely brunch table with these sweet birdies gracing the table – very satisfactory.  Alas, at a price tag of $800.00 for a service for 8, it definitely gave me pause.

To my complete delight, actually I had to do a triple take, I came across this set – very similar I might add and ever so whimsical from Target.  The collection is called Spring Song and at a price tag of $120.00 for a service of 8 it’s defintely a must buy.  Oh I will still continue to swoon over Chirp but will be just as content with Spring Song.

{All Poufed Out}

poufsFor months I’ve been toying with the idea of investing in a pouf.  They are all the rage right now.  They are so colorful and well so boho-chic. I envisioned one in my living room where I would prop my feet up and compose e-mails, in the bedroom where I could sit and ponder, in my daughters room where she can play tea with her dolls,  in my office where I could rest books and papers.  Hmmm … seems like I can  see one being very pretty and of course very useful.
